This play goes down as a fumble recovery for a touchdown, but I believe the layman’s term is “YOINK!” On Monday Night Football, Minnesota running back extraordinaire Adrian Peterson was running to the outside left and he got plugged up by a lineman and a linebacker when number 52 Clay Matthews came in and literally stole the ball right out of his arms and ran it back the other way for a touchdown!
That was such a smooth pickpocket the Packers are changing their team name from the Green Bay Packers to Oliver and Company. Clay Matthews’ new nickname is Bernie Madoff. (I’ll refrain from my “losing a ball” John Kruk joke.)
