Atl. Housewife's Fiance Killed in Strip Club Fight

The fiance of a cast member on the TV show "Real Housewives of Atlanta" was killed after a fight at a Northwest Atlanta strip club, Atlanta police said.

Ashley "A.J." Jewell, who was engaged to Kandi Burruss, died at Piedmont Hospital following a brawl at The Body Tap Club located at 1271 Marietta Blvd.
"He got into a fist fight," Atlanta Police Liet. Keith Meadows told WSB Radio. "At some point in that altercation he sustained a serious blow to the head."
Liet. Meadows said the two men got into a verbal argument before the fight. Investigators did not know have an exact motive. It happened in the strip club's parking lot around 10 p.m. Friday
"We have developed a person of interest in this case," Liet. Meadows said. "We are in the process of questioning that person."
Burruss is an award-winning singer-songwriter and a former member of the '90s R&B group Xscape. She appears on the TV show, which airs on the Bravo network.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC), is preparing to do battle with London’s Mayor, Boris Johnson. Reports say that Johnson was angered, by plans to build a £40 million temporary venue, near to the O2 Arena.
Apparently, the London Mayor wants the plans scrapped and is now trying to push other plans, which could mean more traveling for some of the competitors. The IOC president Jacques Rogge says he has the right to veto plans, if they go too far from the pledges.
But London can’t change the venue plans at all, even if they do get the approval of 2012 Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell and the British Olympic Association. At the end of the day, the IOC are the ones that get the final say in the matter.

A.J. Jewell ex-fiance of Kandi Burruss suffered a severe head injury from a fight at Body Tap in Atlanta, Georgia. A.J. Jewell was rushed from the club which is located at 1271 Marietta Blvd to Piedmont Hospital, according to sources.
Jewell would later be pronounced dead from his severe injuries to the head according to authorities.
Police are still reportedly seeking the suspects in the death — possible murder — of A.J. Jewell.
