WKYC Cleveland School Closings today. WKYC Channel 3 Northeast Ohio School Closings are being reported as weather conditions worsen Monday.

Northeast Ohio is under a severe weather alert until 7 PM EST today. Fox 8 Cleveland joins WKYC with reports of school closings today.

A lake effect snow warning was issued this morning. Reports put 2-4″ of snow as possible striking the region just in today’s early morning hours. It’s a mix of light snow and frigid 19 degree that is causing closure of the following area schools:

Redwood Elementary School, Aurora City Schools, Bethel Baptist Christian Acad, Valley Christian Acad-Aurora, CARE Christian Academy, Northfield Baptist School, All Saints of St John Vianney, Andrews Osborne Academy, Auburn Career Center, and Clev Inst Den Med Asst-Mentor
