Career: Entered the 2008 season 10th in career punt return yardage at UConn with 358. 2008: Averaged 11.8 yards per punt return to lead the Big East and was 28th in the country in that category... His 306 punt return yards was sixth in school single-season history... First career punt return for a TD vs. Syracuse (Nov. 15) with a 69-yard scamper in the third quarter... earned special teams game ball after win over Baylor (Sept. 19)... Was tied for fourth on the team in tackles with 60 and led the squad with four interceptions and nine pass breakups. ... Also had 2 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble .... had a career-high nine tackles vs. Louisville Sept. 26 .... Also had 8 tackles in the International Bowl victory over Buffalo Jan. 3.

2007: Played in seven games as a reserve defensive back and on special teams .... Had a pair of punt returns vs. Akron (Sept. 29) and Virginia (Oct. 13) including a 22-yard runback vs. the Zips. ... Made first career tackle vs. Maine (Sept. 8) and also had his first career punt return good for 13 yards.

High School: An All-Dade County pick as a senior. Named MVP of Nike Dade-Broward All-Star Game after returning a punt 70 yards for a touchdown and making a 45-yard touchdown catch. ... An honorable mention all-star pick at the 4A level .... Had 27 catches as a senior for 604 yards and seven TDs .... As a junior, had 32 receptions for 747 yards with five touchdowns while also intercepting six passes to help Edison to the regional final ... Also made 42 tackles and had two interceptions. ...
